EVT 2000 with protective casing
The EVT 2000 Electrical Vane Tester can be delivered with protective casing around the vane and protecting tube around the extension rods. After each test, the vane is pulled back and locked inside its protection. It is then pressed deeper into the ground, and the test is repeated.
The EVT 2000 Electrical Vane Tester can be delivered with the “Eurocode” down-hole configuration that has protective casing around the vane and protective tube around the extension rods. Vane testers
With electrical vane testers from Geotech, the undrained and remoulded shear
strengths of soils can be measured and sensitivity calculated in situ.
The EVT 2000 Electrical Vane Tester is available with protection for vane and rod or with the “Nilcon” type of slip coupling for compensation of rod friction. The Nova Vane Probe makes the measurements down-hole, directly above the vane.
EVT 2000 with slip coupling
The traditional or standard solution based on the well-known “Nilcon” type of slip coupling for compensation of rod friction.
